Services for Children

IHN-CCO Can Help Keep Your Baby, Child or Teen Feeling Well

Well Baby, Child & Teen VisitsYour doctor wants to see your child when they are well, too. IHN-CCO covers well visits, as recommended by your doctor, to help you keep your child healthy.

These visits can help you understand how your child is growing and learning, and you can discuss any worries you may have about your child’s development. Call your provider to make an appointment and find out how often you should be scheduling a well visit.
Dental ServicesIt is hard to know if there is a problem in your child’s mouth without a regular check-up. IHN-CCO provides two check-ups a year. Check-ups include preventative services for your child including cleanings, fluoride treatments and dental sealants.

Mental Health ServicesChildren with behavioral challenges are eligible to have their care coordinated through Wraparound or Intensive Care Coordination. These services bring together a team of professional and natural supports to understand and meet the family and youth’s individualized needs. The planning process may involve anyone in the child’s life who the youth and family consider as important, forming a team so that a plan of support can be developed. For those youth and families that need more than individual and family therapy, a variety of intensive services are available when needed and agreed upon by the family and youth and as included in their mental health treatment plan or care plan. These may include but are not limited to:

Case Management: Services provided to assist individuals who reside in a community setting or are transitioning to a community setting in gaining access to desired medical, social, educational, entitlement and other applicable services.
Skills training: Provides information and training to individuals and families designed to assist with the development of skills in areas including but not limited to anger management, stress reduction, conflict resolution, self-esteem, parent-child interactions, personal relationships, drug and alcohol awareness, behavior support, symptom management, accessing community services and daily living.
Youth and Family Peer Services: Community-based services and support provided by peers and peer support specialists to individuals or family members with similar lived experience.
Respite: Includes planned and emergency supports designed to provide temporary relief from care giving to maintain a stable and safe living environment. Respite care may be provided in or out of the home. Respite care includes supervision and behavior support consistent with the strategies specified in the service plan.
Intensive In-Home Behavioral Treatment (IIBHT): A program for children that offers a combination of services and supports delivered in a community-based setting to a child, zero through 20 years of age and their families.

If you are a child’s guardian and think your child and family could gain from these services, please contact your mental health provider or Wraparound/Intensive Care Coordinator to help you determine what services are available and the best “fit” to meet your needs. IHN-CCO Customer Service can also help connect you to our Care Coordination Department if you are not currently receiving services.
